The journey begins..
Ilana j is an up and coming singer-songwriter from Birmingham (UK) whose songwriting and recording journey has taken her from the evocative pop ballads of 2015 to her latest offerings of energetic pop imbued with her signature creative lyrics and urban beats.
Ilana J's debut EP ‘Free Falling from the Ground Up' was released in 2015 to popular approval from music fans and industry professionals alike. In 2016 Ilana has rapidly expanded her portfolio of original songs, exploring new themes with her own unique style of fresh, upbeat pop with poetic lyrics and a contemporary urban vibe. t
February 2016 saw the release of the single track 'Not Alone' inviting us to let go of the illusion of isolation and to celebrate a world of unity through diversity. The next release of 2016 was 'Made for You' an engaging pop tribute to the inevitability of chemical attraction and hot on its heels in September came 'Art of Battle' a hip-hop flavoured lyrical expression of the love hate dynamic in relationships.
